5/3/12 - For those going to Burial Service in MI....here's hotel info to reserve from a block rooms that have been set a side for the "Connie Skeele Burial Service".  They will switch room to your name and info when you call.  Phone: 1-517-886-5030

5/2/12 - Updated Information on Connie's Services and Donations on her behalf:


Calling hours and Celebration of Life services will be Friday May 18th at the DeRuyter UCC. Calling hours will be from 4-7, with Celebration Service to follow at 7pm.

Burial Service for Family and Close Friends will be in Leslie MI,  Monday May 21st at 10am Woodlawn Cemetery.   


Three Donation Funds on Connie's Behalf:


1) Connie Skeele Music Scholarship through DeRuyter Central School.  
    
This will be given to senior who excels in Music every year.

2) Ghana Africa - Aubrey Mission through Eastern Hills Bible Church
    
Granddaughter Aubrey Skeele is part of this MIssion to bring medicine supplies and help dig for clean fresh water resources for people in Ghana. Noki (Connie) was going to help her Granddaughter in this endeavor this coming June.

3) DeRuyter UCC Memorial Fund

This will go towards music supplies, Piano/Organ upkeep, and Sound System upgrades as needed in church.  Connie was the Pianist and Music Director for many years in the church.

It is with great sadness that our mom (Connie) passed away Sunday afternoon @ 3 pm at the Chittenango Center where she has been. The best we can determine is that her body just finally said enough already and gave out. She has had a long hard road since her auto accident 11/16/03 but especially this past year when she broke her ankle last June. In and out of doctors,  surgeries and then the kidney stone complications in the last few months.

We have not finalized the final arrangements, but as of right now we are looking at May 18th with calling hours from 4-7 followed by a service at the DeRuyter UCC. The family will travel to E. Lansing Michigan for a graveside service on May 21th @ 10am. Several things are still being hashed out and waiting for confirmation but will let you all know once we have final confirmation on everything.

For those that are new with us, Connie was also the agency owner/bookkeeper for many years before retiring 2003.
