We welcome your inquiries and ask that you call or e-mail us with certain information. We want to give you a firm quote with no surprises for you or us. This will require some research on our part and some time. With auto insurance we can respond within 24 hours and usually by the end of the day.
HOMES or APARTMENTS:
For home and other property quotes we will need to examine the site/structure before we can make a quote. We are very prompt and often don't need to go inside unless you have a wood stove. An on-site examination is required because many of our companies require photos and a replacement cost worksheet. Several of our companies offer very special rates for an exceptionally well kept, newer or renovated home. Some of the companies offer very competitive rates if we can package home and auto insurance policies. In any event, there are guidelines that we must adhere to in order to offer our very favorable pricing. We also need to know the desired policy limits, the approximate age of the dwelling, if you have a finished basement, a garage detached or attached, the number of bathrooms, method of heating, any improvements made over the recent past and animals you may keep. We also need to know the location of the property, the nearest connecting roads and how we may recognize the property. If you are buying: is there a realtor, is it vacant, and if not, the name of the present owner.See the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section for some of the reasons for the need for this information.
AUTOMOBILES:
When you call for auto insurance quote we need full names, date of birth, license numbers and social security number, year, make, model and vehicle indentification number. We also need to know how far you travel to work. If you want a comparison with your present policy then we also need your liability limits, no-fault coverage and deductibles. You may prefer to just send or fax us a copy of your present policy. |
